Hannah Yuti

Hannah is from Madang and Papuan Waria, Sohe District, and she found that being born and raised in Papua New Guineas second largest city, Lae, very challenging. In 2015 Hannah began to learn crochet artwork from her aunt and spent a month perfecting her technique whilst learning her first pattern. Now, after almost 10 years of creation Hannah incorporates her country’s pride colours to convey where the piece comes from in each artwork.

Hannah believes that life is short and that despite difficulties and challenges she intends to show people all over the world her intricate art. Through sharing her artwork, Hannah aims to be a successful artist and businesswomen.
